After being closed for two and a half months, I’ve made the decision to re-open the shop. The decision to re-open was much harder than the one to close temporarily but, after dithering for longer than I’d like to admit, it has been made.

These are the measures I am taking to protect myself and my customers:

• Only two customers will be allowed in the shop at any given time to allow for ample distance to be maintained. Please be respectful of other people’s space.
• Wearing masks or a face shield is mandatory in the shop.
• Hand sanitizer is available for customer use near the door. Please apply it before touching anything in the shop.
• As much as possible, I will try to have the shop door propped open to eliminate the need to touch the door handle. If the door is closed, know that I monitor the comings and goings of customers and wipe down the handle after each use.
• No donations or trade in will be accepted at this time.

Store hours have been reduced to Tuesday – Saturday from 12 pm – 5 pm. Double check our hours either on the contact page or on social media as they may change at any time.

The writer’s groups have moved to an online setting, and are doing quite well there. They will continue to be held this way until at least the autumn if not longer.
