Happy New Year to my reader and writer friends! I haven’t been the most efficient poster in recent months but, despite the quiet, everything has continued to operate in as normal a capacity as is possible.
I know the past couple of years have been unlike any others, but I want to thank everyone who supported the shop in whatever way they could. Cliffside Village and the surrounding neighbourhoods are full of readers, writers, and genuinely wonderful people. I am still here because of you, so, thanks.
For those of you who have been asking, yes, the shop is still open. Our hours are Tuesdays to Saturdays from 12 to 5 pm. Drop in and say hi sometime. Donations and trade-ins are occasionally being accepted, but it’s best to call and check before bringing anything in.
The writer’s groups are still up and running, though to ensure everyone’s safety they will remain online for the foreseeable future. I run an Accountability Group and a Prompt Writing Group. If you’re interested in learning more about them, check out my last post: We’re Still Writing, which describes what you can expect from each group. These groups run several times a year, so get in touch if you’re interested because there is probably one starting soon.
Here’s to a 2022 full of love, joy, and of course, lots of books!
